Face, Neck Exercises Are Inexpensive And Beneficial
Not many people are familiar with the concept of face and neck exercises. Most people know about the benefits of exercising for your body, but they ignore the great benefits of keeping the tone of your face and neck muscles. Imperfections like wrinkles, sagging skin or under eye bags can be prevented or improved with some regular and quick workouts for your facial area.
Moisturizers and creams are okay for fighting wrinkles, but you are only fighting a part of the problem this way. To keep you face and neck area young looking and without sagging, you should work on the muscle tone. There are several parts to work on: Cheeks, lips, neck, forehead, eyes, etc. If you want to look younger than what your wrinkles tell, exercising your facial muscles will prevent you from getting a double chin and sagging neck (or make them look better if you already have them) and also make you look lighter (people tend to mistake a double chin as an excess weight sign, when often it is just a poor muscle tone problem).
Here is some useful advice for making your neck and throat look better: A very simple exercise is sitting upright and leaning your head back while looking at the ceiling, next you have to pretend to chew without your mouth closed. You must do this move about 20 times a day to start seeing great results soon.
Another beneficial and effective exercise consists on lying on your back on your bed. Rest your head over the bed’s edge and with a slow movement bring it up towards your body for around 10 seconds. Then relax and put your head back down over the border. By doing 5 or more repetitions a day, you will start to see a general improvement in the definition and tone of your neck and chin very soon.
If you’re starting to see lines around your lips, you can try some of the following exercises to help diminish those lines. Before that, however, if you smoke, stop! Smoking will put those lines there faster than anything else except maybe the sun, so stop smoking while you start these face neck exercises, and improve your looks as well as your health.
One of the easiest workouts for your lips is sitting upright with your head looking to the straight to the front. Put your lips and teeth together, smile as much as you can and hold it for 5 seconds. Then relax, purse your lips to a kissing position and hold it for another 5 seconds. You should do this at least 10 times a day.
There are some devices designed specifically for facial exercising, you should be able to find some for less than $30 with a quick online search. Having one of these “machines” might keep you more motivated and disciplined to do your daily face and neck workout. These facial exercisers will help you fight sagging skin, creases below the cheeks or from the nose to your mouth’s sides (commonly called jowl lines) and the always feared double chin.
So, don’t forget the face, neck exercises as you consider your daily workouts or movements. Since they can be done at your desk or while you’re driving, they’re much easier to stick to and you will see results in just a few short weeks. Additional exercises and movements are all over the Internet, so take a few minutes to read about and practice some simple moves that will have you looking and feeling better with little or no cost, and just a few minutes a day for obvious benefits.
