Collectors are available in all stripes, people who  genuinely employ a love for which they’re  collecting, those that just love the chase of being able to complete a collection, and people that hope their investment will one day be worthwhile.  One doesn’t should be  one of many  uncounted players of World of Warcraft to collect its wow character figures.  The younger players though, or the young at heart, could have a difficult time resisting the urge taking  the warcraft action figures of the box.  The slightly older players will  find the  warcraft action figures coming from of He-Man figures sold within the 80’s.

There are four main companies that started manufacturing warcraft figures since Warcraft 2.  They’re Blizzard Entertainment, Toycom, Advanced (SOTA), and DC Direct (of DC Comics).  From these companies, DC Direct has made the most important line of figures, twenty five figures including very exclusive miniatures, through 2009.

Blizzard, the corporation behind World of Warcraft, or WoW has only produced 5 miniatures.  These are Human Footman, Orc Grunt, Malfurion Stormrage, Muradin Bronzebeard, and Thrall.

Toycom has produced six figures all from Warcraft 3.  SOTA released only three figures that are: Tauren Shaman, Undead Warlock, and Jungle Troll Voodoo Priest.

DC Direct released its first series of warcraft action figures in 2007.  This first series was comprised of Meryl Felstorm: Undead Warrior, Rehgar Earthfury: Orc Shaman, Valeera Sanguinar: Blood Elf Rogue, plus a deluxe figure, Illidan Stormrage: Night Elf Demon Hunter. DC has released five series in the time of the end of 2009.

As Steve Carell’s character, Andy, proved in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, developing a mint toy collection is usually a nice investment.  Those not really acquainted with WoW, but seeking the next “hot” collectible, may want to seek out these wow action figures because WoW is a Guinness World Record holding massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), holding the record for most subscribers, over 11 million.  With increasingly more followers worldwide it’s likely a market will exist later on for all collectors who were able to purchase the warcraft action figures now and hold onto them.  And unlike the He-Man figures these WoW action figures aren’t currently being produced in higher quantities and sold in retail outlets.
